Day event featuring John Clare’s poetry in
Fineshade Wood, 28 August. Finding
Words for the Forest takes place
on Saturday 28 August in Fineshade Wood (off the A43 south of Duddington,
near Stamford) between 11 am and 4 pm.
Led by poet and ex-forest worker, Patrick Bond, this unique day
workshop consists of short walks and readings of John Clare’s poetry in the
forest, together with opportunities to write, to reflect, to examine Clare’s
technique, and to share thoughts and/or writings. Following the success of last year’s events, Patrick is putting

from the Madhouse and Dear Johnny ... ever yours, Emma: Letters from the Fireside, on Sunday 9
November 2008 at the Rosemary Branch Theatre in Islington, London, as part of
their festival Branching Out.
. The second part with is
doubled with Reflections is a woman’s view of the poet drawn from the
